PHYSICAL THERAPY

Our team of highly skilled clinicians use evidence based practice in order to diagnose and treat a wide variety of issues. We use a holistic approach and will examine the joints above and below the location of the injury in order to see the bigger picture.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

We treat traumatic injuries including,
but not limited to:

  • Sprains

  • Strains

  • Fractures

  • Dislocations

  • Ligament/Muscle Tears

  • Labrum/Meniscus tears

  • Vertebral Disc Injuries

We can also treat any patients both pre and post operative orthopedic surgery and we will work closely with your surgeon to ensure the best care possible.

We can treat non-traumatic problems as well, including but not limited to:

  • Arthritis

  • Degenerative Disc Disease

  • Gout

  • Tendinitis/Tendinosis

  • Impingement

  • Frozen Shoulder

  • Bursitis

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Postural Abnormalities

  • Balance Problems

  • General Weakness

Whatever your personal goals are for physical therapy, we would be happy to help you reach them.

Each appointment is typically sixty minutes long with the first half being one-on-one with the therapist performing hands on treatment based on your needs. The second half of the treatment is for completing an exercise program that has also been constructed for your individual needs. Each visit will then typically finish with a possible combination of electrical stimulation, ice/heat, and/or vasopneumatic compression to help with blood flow/circulation, inflammation, and pain relief.

will benefit from performing their treatment in the decreased weightbearing environment of the pool. We provide aquatic therapy in a small group setting and the therapist is always there with you in the pool to
provide one-on-one care as needed.

ORTHOPEDIC PEDIATRICS

Pediatric

We have created a fun environment for treating our pediatric population that will make physical therapy treatments more fun and engaging.

We use our same knowledge and evidence based treatments for our pediatrics as well, but we also realize that teenagers and children have different physical therapy needs compared to adults.

We treat the same types of injuries for our younger patients as described for adults,
but there are also a few that can be more specific to pediatrics including, but not limited to:

  • Scoliosis

  • Little League Shoulder

  • Osgood Schlatter Disease

  • Sever's Disease

  • Patellofemoral Pain
    Syndrome

  • Idiopathic toe walking.

We can also treat any patients both pre and post operative orthopedic surgery and we will work closely with your surgeon to ensure the best care possible.

CUPPING

Cupping

Perhaps you have seen professional and Olympic athletes that have multiple dark
colored circles on their body that looks as though they just hugged an octopus.

Those marks are from a type of therapy called Cupping.

Cupping is an ancient Chinese treatment that uses several cups on the skin that create suction. The purpose of Cupping is to use that suction in order to help bring more blood to certain areas of the body which can assist with the healing process after an injury. Increasing the blood flow to an area can also help decrease muscle soreness after a strenuous workout and can boost recovery speed. Cupping can be used as part of a massage treatment as well to help loosen connective tissue between the muscles and skin called fascia. Please make sure to inform your therapist of any injuries or sources of pain before beginning a Cupping therapy session.

athletes back to peak performance after
an injury.

We have worked with both professional and Olympic level athletes as well as college and high school. We can also help with the weekend warrior all the way down to youth sports and everything in between. We will tailor each therapy program to the individual athlete's needs and goals and will come up with exercises and drills specific to the sport in order to get you ready for full competition. Even if you do not have a current injury, we can also help assess your mechanics and develop a program in order to help improve performance and decrease the risk of a future injury as well.
